MAN AND VAN HIRE PRICES

We have various price structures in place depending on the level of removal service you require. Below is an explanation of how we work out our prices. Please contact us for more details if you are unsure which price bracket your removal work falls under and we will be happy to discuss the appropriate service for you.

All prices within the Sheffield region are charged from the moment we arrive on site until the van has been unloaded at the destination

Any removal work taking us from Sheffield to another city or vice versa is charged as an all round trip from our base in Sheffield 6
i.e. Sheffield to Birmingham takes around 2 hours driving so 4 hours would be charged for driving to Birmingham and back to Sheffield again plus the time taken to load and unload the van

Long distance removals will also incur a 30p per mile charge to cover the fuel.

REMOVAL SERVICE PRICES IN SHEFFIELD

1 Man and Van

• Monday to Friday - £50 first hour, £20 per subsequent hour
• Saturday - £55 first hour, £25 per subsequent hour
• Sunday and Bank Holidays - £60 first hour, £30 per subsequent hour

2 Men and Van

• Monday to Friday - £65 first hour, £35 per subsequent hour
• Saturday - £75 first hour, £45 per subsequent hour
• Sunday and Bank Holidays - £85 first hour, £55 per subsequent hour

3 Men and Van

• Monday to Friday - £80 first hour, £50 per subsequent hour
• Saturday - £95 first hour, £65 per subsequent hour
• Sunday and Bank Holidays - £110 first hour, £75 per subsequent hour

Please note the above prices are for jobs taken in Sheffield. Removal work carried out in cities other than Sheffield have a higher 1st hour fee to cover diesel and driving time. National removal jobs to and from Sheffield are charged at the normal hourly rate plus diesel charge

• Monday to Friday - £45

3 Men and Van

Please note the above prices are for single item deliveries in Sheffield only. Deliveries to other cities will incur extra charges to cover diesel and time taken to drive there and back

Deposits

If a job requires us to travel to another city first, we must receive a deposit before the job starts

Removals in London

As of 3 January 2012, London have introduced a Low Emission Zone policy which means that large vans, amongst other vehicles, now have to pay a daily charge to drive in the Low Emmision Zones. The cost of a daily pass is £100. This needs to be paid for by the customer in advance of any removal work agreed to and from London. The deposit can be transferred into our account and we will sort out the rest of the details.

Van Availability

The vehicle used for the removals service is a Long Wheel Base Mercedes Sprinter and is available for booking 7 days a week including bank holidays

Are you a student?

If so then any quote given to you will have 10% knocked off when you show your student card
